Blogging, Therapy or Self Indulgence?

Actually, for me it's probably both, plus a way to share with friends whats going on without having to fill all their email boxes with notes that they may or may not have time to read.

I'll probably spend way too much time playing around with the template, so don't be surprised if you see it differently each time. I see the world differently all the time too. I usually have a lot of stories and pictures to share, but my computer died, and I'm afraid all those went too. Y'see, I was just deleting things so I could do a really good back-up... My sweet daughter has loaned me hers for the time being.

Excuse me. My cats are breaking down my door. I keep reading that cats are aloof, distant creatures. I guess I get all the ones who get kicked out of the "Snooty Cat Country Club". They open doorknobs, turn on and off wall lights, unhook doors, and remove sliding doors from their tracks, if I am on the opposite side of the door. If there is an available inch of lap, there must be a fur kid covering it. They are past masters of the gravity trick. You know that one, you just THINK of getting up, and they shift gravity and suddenly become impossible to move. I heard that Buddha once cut off the sleeve of an expensive coat in order not to disturb a sleeping kitten. My cats make me wonder if he just couldn't get up any other way!

Between my computer crashing and trying to get packed to move, and trying to find a place to move into, I am even more disorganized than usual. What I really need is just someone to come over and sit while I work, crooning "It will be over soon, you'll find a place, you'll love it" over and over again. I have moved a lot and I hate it. This will also be the first time I've moved on my own. Along with the move, it's a major life shift. One I need, but that doesn't make it any less scary!
